On September 22, 2025, at 18:45, we flew with Corendon Airlines from Basel to Antalya. Upon arrival, we discovered that our child’s stroller (Kraft Onyx NW model) had been damaged—the locking mechanism was broken, and the leather on the front bar and handle was badly peeled and scratched. The stroller no longer folds and remains stuck open. Right after landing, I filed a report with the airline’s ground services and was given reference number AYTXC23383/22SEP25/2052GMT. I also submitted the receipt. Since we live in Antalya, we must send the stroller to the authorized service in Istanbul. Their repair estimate was: “Arm part ₺1500, front bar ₺1000, side lock ₺500, shipping and labor ₺1500, totaling ₺4500.” However, the airline only offered to pay ₺1000, which doesn’t even cover the shipping cost. At the moment, I cannot send the stroller for repair, and my grievance continues. I purchased the stroller on 20.02.2023, and it is still under warranty. I have all documents and receipts available. The authorized service stated they would invoice and ship the product if the airline accepts. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any further support or solution from the airline. I am requesting full compensation and replacement of the product, and I kindly ask for my grievance to be resolved as soon as possible.
