I Bought $param Token via CoinMarketCap & PancakeSwap and Now I Can’t Sell It

I found the $param Token through a contract address listed on CoinMarketCap, and I proceeded to purchase it using PancakeSwap, trusting both platforms as legitimate sources. Unfortunately, after buying, I tried to sell the token and realized it’s completely unsellable—the token is fake.

I’m incredibly frustrated that CoinMarketCap displayed a fraudulent token and PancakeSwap allowed its sale. These are well-known platforms, and users like me rely on their data to make informed decisions. Now, my funds are locked in a token that has no value and can’t be traded.

I’m demanding an investigation into this listing and immediate action to compensate affected users. At the very least, CoinMarketCap should vet contract addresses better and issue a warning when fake tokens are identified.
