Citroen C5 Aircross EGR Valf Problem

On February 28, 2020, I took delivery of my 2020 model Citroen C5 Aircross. Recently, there was a water leak from the EGR valve cooler housing, which drained the engine coolant and caused my car to overheat and stop working. The service center replaced the part, but I believe this issue should be considered a manufacturing defect, as it occurred at just 115,000 km in four years. As a mechanical engineer with some knowledge of these matters, I was told at the service center that if the car was still under warranty, the replacement would have been covered. The part in question is difficult to access, requiring the engine to be removed for the replacement. I believe the cost of such a defect should not be passed on to the customer, as it is not due to misuse. I request that Citroen Turkey or Stellantis take the necessary action regarding this issue.
