I have been driving my Chery Tiggo 8 Pro for 6 months, and today in Ankara, while driving, the panoramic sunroof suddenly exploded without any external impact. This incident not only put my safety at serious risk but also caused significant stress and inconvenience.
After the event, I immediately contacted the authorized service center. However, I was shocked to be told that the sunroof is not covered under warranty and could only be replaced through insurance coverage or as a paid repair.
I completely reject this response. A sunroof should never spontaneously shatter under normal driving conditions, especially on a new vehicle. This is clearly a manufacturing or material defect and should be fully covered under warranty.
I demand that Chery treat this as a warranty issue and replace the defective sunroof free of charge. Safety-related defects must not be pushed onto customers as out-of-pocket expenses. I expect urgent action to resolve this matter and ensure drivers are protected from such dangerous failures.
