In June 2025, I purchased a brand‑new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max 2025. Before even 8 months had passed, the adhesive of the left lower chrome trim came off. Until now, the car has only been washed three times and has a mileage of around 2,000 km, yet I have encountered this issue. After the problem appeared, I applied to the authorized service about two weeks ago. The service stated that I was the seventh customer to come in with the same problem with this model, that they would consult the warranty department, but that such issues are generally considered out of warranty. Chery İncar dealership tried to help me with the situation, but they stated that they were blocked by the head office and therefore could not produce a solution. I do not consider the adhesive failure of the chrome trim on a brand‑new, very lightly used car that has only been washed a few times to be user error. I believe that my vehicle should be free of defects and problems. Therefore, I request that the left lower chrome trim be repaired under warranty without any charge, or that the part be replaced if necessary.
