Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Auto Hold Malfunction Unresolved Under Warranty

I am the owner of a 2022 Tiggo 7 Pro purchased in Manama, Bahrain, and I would like to formally report an unresolved malfunction in the Auto Hold system, which has been ongoing for approximately two years despite repeated visits to the local dealer and direct attempts to contact Chery. The Auto Hold system in my vehicle does not automatically activate after it has been previously enabled, even though normal operating conditions are met. This behavior clearly deviates from the expected system logic and also differs from identical Tiggo 7 Pro vehicles with the same specifications, including my son’s vehicle, where the Auto Hold operates correctly. In other words, the problem is specific to my car and is not a characteristic of this model in general. The vehicle was admitted to the Bahrain dealer’s service center on 17.09.2025 for this same Auto Hold concern, but the issue was not resolved. It was admitted again on 05.01.2026 and has now remained at the service facility for more than one month without a permanent solution. Despite repeated visits and complaints over the past two years, the malfunction persists and the dealer has not been able to provide either a clear diagnosis or a lasting repair. There is no proper case or job card reference system at the dealer, but I have WhatsApp messages and emails documenting my communications. In addition, I have sent many emails directly to Chery International about this issue and have not received any reply. My Tiggo 7 Pro is still under warranty, and I regularly pay for the scheduled periodic maintenance every six months or 10,000 km as required, so all service obligations on my side have been fulfilled. However, the Auto Hold defect has remained unresolved for an unreasonably long time, and the lack of clear feedback from both the local dealer and Chery is unacceptable for a safety‑related system. I request a written, detailed technical explanation from Chery and the Bahrain dealer regarding the root cause of this Auto Hold malfunction and why it behaves differently from identical vehicles. In addition, I expect a definitive and permanent fix to be provided under warranty without any extra cost to me, whether this requires software updates, component replacement, or the involvement of a technical expert from the manufacturer. I kindly ask that this matter be handled urgently and that I receive a clear and documented response instead of further delays.
