Chery Denied Warranty for My 2024 Tiggo 7 Over Late Service

Chery Turkey was very attentive to the issue and constantly followed up on my service processes. I thank the entire Chery family.

I purchased my 2024 model Chery Tiggo 7 towards the end of March 2024. The vehicle currently has around 5,000 km on it and there are no issues or malfunctions. However, due to its high fuel consumption, I haven't been able to use it frequently. Until now, I had never taken the car to the service center. As of July, I wanted to take it in for maintenance. I contacted the Chery Turkey Communication Center, and Ms. B*** informed me that since more than a year has passed since the purchase, the vehicle is now considered out of warranty — even if I bring it in for service at this point. I specifically asked the following question: "My car has no issues at the moment. If the service also confirms that there are no problems, will future potential malfunctions still not be covered under warranty?" She replied, “Yes, if the maintenance is delayed, future issues caused by that delay will not be covered by the warranty.” Naturally, I have to question this: If the car is inspected and no issues are found, how can anyone determine that a future malfunction is due to late servicing? This approach is unfair to customers and undermines the very concept of a warranty. It also creates the impression that Chery does not have confidence in the reliability of its vehicles. I demand that my grievance be resolved and that Chery abandon this unreasonable warranty policy. I don’t want to agree with those who say, “You shouldn’t buy a Chery,” but unfortunately, my experience seems to support that view.

I have shared in detail here the warranty issue I experienced with the 2024 model Chery Tiggo 7. However, despite the time that has passed, I have not received any response from the Chery brand. It should not be this easy and arbitrary for a vehicle to be excluded from warranty. Moreover, the fact that the company has remained completely silent even though I shared this situation clearly shows how much importance is given to customer satisfaction.

Update – Issue Not Resolved Following my complaint, I was contacted by Chery Turkey, and I was told that the authorized service in my city would get in touch with me. However, no one has called or provided any information. This approach further damages trust in the brand. Customer satisfaction cannot be achieved simply by saying 'we responded'; what really matters is following up on the process and providing a solution. My grievance continues. I expect a concrete step and solution from Chery Turkey.
