ChatGPT Business Subscription Credits Ran Out After a Few Questions

On September 11, 2026, I purchased ChatGPT Business Premium and Business subscriptions through ChatGPT.com for a total of $180. At the time of purchase, I was told that I would be able to continue using the service without interruption and without additional credit charges after reaching the five-hour limit included with my Plus membership. I relied on this information when making the purchase. However, after asking only a few questions, I received warnings stating that my credits had already been exhausted and that I could not continue, causing my work to be interrupted.

Even though I had purchased a Business subscription, I was still restricted even in normal chat mode and was given messages stating that certain features would only become available after a week and that I needed to purchase additional credits. I believe this situation is misleading to consumers and has caused me financial harm by charging me for a service that I have not been able to properly use.

After experiencing these issues, I contacted the relevant support team regarding my Business subscription and explained the situation. I stated that I wanted to upgrade to a higher-tier Pro plan because the package I purchased did not meet my needs, that I was willing to pay any additional cost, and that the current plan was seriously limiting my use. Despite this, my request was denied, and although I believe I was entitled to a 14-day refund period, I was not offered any refund or alternative solution.

Since I have paid for a service that I have been unable to properly use or benefit from, I request a refund of the $180 I paid. Alternatively, I request that I be upgraded to the Pro plan upon payment of any applicable additional fee so that this issue can be resolved.
