ChatGPT App Charges Customer for Plus Subscription That Never Works
On June 11, I purchased a ChatGPT Plus subscription through the App Store link inside the ChatGPT app, but I wasn't able to use the subscription for even a single day. I can't access Plus features in the app, and the subscription isn't being recognized on my account.
When I reported this to customer service, I was told there might be an account synchronization issue, but the Apple account I used to make the purchase is the same one I expected the Plus subscription to be linked to. Even so, the problem wasn't resolved. I also tried deleting and reinstalling the app, as well as logging out and logging back in, but none of it worked.
On May 11, 2026, a payment of $11 was charged. Some of the details from the transaction are as follows: sequence number 2-9013975578, order number MLV4N47ZSF, document number 792132592553, and the Apple account is h*************@icloud.com.
Even though I was never able to use the ChatGPT Plus subscription I purchased at all, I haven't been refunded. I'm requesting that the $11 payment charged for a service I never used be refunded as soon as possible, and that the necessary investigation into this issue be carried out and I be given an update.
