Chamspy Charged Me for a Monthly Subscription Without Consent
I purchased what I believed was a daily subscription through Chamspy for one-time use. However, without my knowledge or consent, my account was automatically upgraded to a monthly subscription, and on February 7, 2026, at 4:21 p.m., $44 was charged to my credit card.
I only intended to purchase a one-day service. I never agreed to or authorized a monthly subscription, and I do not accept being charged such a high recurring fee without my explicit consent.
As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted Chamspy through its support chatbot and canceled the subscription. However, I was unable to speak with a customer service representative regarding a refund. I was only informed that the subscription had been canceled, and I never received a clear response about the unauthorized charge. I have my credit card statement and transaction records available as evidence.
I request that this unauthorized $44 charge be investigated immediately and refunded in full to my credit card. I also request a written explanation of why a monthly subscription was activated and billed without my explicit authorization.
