Chamspy Subscription Charged Me Without Notice
On May 30, 2026, I used the Chamspy service on my Android device through my Google account to look up a phone number. That day, my Akbank account was charged $0. During the purchase process, there was no clear or obvious disclosure that I was signing up for a subscription. It appeared to be a one-time transaction.
However, on June 7, 2026, at 6:20 p.m., Chamspy charged an additional $26 to my Akbank debit card account without my knowledge or authorization. I received no advance notice, subscription reminder, consent screen, or other warning before this charge was processed.
As soon as I noticed the unauthorized transaction, I tried to contact Chamspy, but I never received a response. I then contacted Akbank and had my card canceled for security reasons. I have the payment receipt and the transaction details from my bank account and can provide them if necessary.
I request a full refund of the $26 that was charged without my permission, along with any other charges that were improperly collected. I also request that my Chamspy subscription and account be canceled immediately to prevent any future unauthorized charges.
