CapCut's High Pricing Leaves Long-Time Users Frustrated
I have been using CapCut for five years, ever since it was first introduced when hardly anyone knew about it. Back then, it was a fantastic app where I could easily create edits without any hassle. However, the recent pricing changes have made it unaffordable and frustrating for loyal users like me.
After losing my job, I wanted to continue using CapCut, but the pricing is shockingly high—over 1000₺ for a subscription. This is simply too much for a single app. To make matters worse, features that were once free, like templates, effects, transitions, and even adding audio, are now locked behind a paywall.
CapCut has grown significantly, partly because of loyal users who promoted it to friends and family. However, with these pricing changes, many users, including myself, are considering leaving the platform. A successful app should value its long-time users instead of driving them away with excessive fees. I urge CapCut to reconsider its pricing structure and find a solution to keep its community intact.
