CapCut Charged Me $25 for an Annual Subscription I Barely Used
I downloaded the CapCut app through the Apple App Store under a free trial. Because I didn’t realize when the trial period ended, my subscription was automatically billed as an annual plan. As soon as I noticed this, I immediately canceled the subscription, and I have hardly used the service at all.
Despite this, $25 was charged to my card. I also submitted a request through Apple’s official refund form, but my request was automatically rejected by the system. I am 18 years old, and this amount is a significant expense for me.
I believe that charging an annual fee for a subscription that was almost never used after a free trial ends unfairly disadvantages users. As a gesture of goodwill, I request that this payment be refunded as a one-time exception.
