Since January 20, I have been trying to build a website using Canva. On my Windows computer, using the platform through a web browser, I encounter serious limitations, especially when it comes to animations. The free animation options are extremely limited, and at many points the system constantly pushes me toward purchasing a Premium subscription in a very aggressive way. This makes website design more difficult and significantly reduces the overall user experience.
In addition, the use of animations and the website creation process overall are quite complex and hard to understand. Because the platform lacks clear, detailed, and step-by-step tutorial videos or guidance, I end up wasting a lot of time trying to figure things out on my own.
What I expect from Canva is the following: more free and functional animation options for users who want to design websites, less aggressive pressure to upgrade to Premium, and comprehensive tutorial videos that clearly explain animation usage and website creation step by step. Also, even if Premium is advertised as free for the first 30 days, requiring credit card details upfront is unreasonable. Finally, users cannot add their own custom animations, which is another major limitation that needs to be fixed.
