Calvin Klein Rain Jacket Pills and Discolors After Single Use in Rain

On 12/16/2025, I purchased a Calvin Klein je131387 model rain jacket from a Boyner store. This product, which I bought to protect me in rainy and snowy weather, developed what I believe to be a manufacturing defect after only brief and completely normal use. Specifically, after the first exposure to rainy weather, the jacket's wool/fabric surface developed noticeable discoloration and heavy pilling (fuzzing), and the product became unable to serve its intended purpose.
Because of this problem, I turned the product in for inspection to Boyner's Ordu Store customer service on 02/08/2026. About three weeks later, the product was returned to me with the explanation "user error." Since the problem persisted and the jacket was effectively unusable, I sent the product in for a second inspection on 05/12/2026. However, the second inspection also came back with no concrete evaluation or explanation, again citing "user error," and the product was returned to me.
The product was never machine washed, was never subjected to any process that would violate the usage instructions, and was not damaged through contact with another product. It is not acceptable for a jacket sold specifically to protect against rain and snow to develop such serious deformation this quickly under nothing more than normal city use and exposure to rain.
For all these reasons, I am requesting a refund of the $155 I paid for this product, which I believe to be defective, and that the problem I've experienced be resolved.
