New BYD Seal Design Had Paint and Body Repairs
We purchased a brand-new 2025 BYD Seal Design from the BYD Bodrum dealership and took delivery of the vehicle on May 22, 2026. About a week after delivery, we discovered that the front bumper had been repainted and that the hood showed signs of previous bodywork. Finding this type of damage on a vehicle sold as brand new was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
We immediately reported the issue to both the dealership and BYD's corporate customer service. However, more than a month has passed without any meaningful response, settlement offer, or concrete solution. We have repeatedly been told only that the matter is "under review," while the process continues to be delayed without any real progress.
We purchased this vehicle with the expectation of receiving a brand-new car in flawless condition. Instead, we received a vehicle with evidence of prior paintwork and repairs. We therefore request that BYD replace our vehicle with a truly new, undamaged car that has never been repainted or repaired. We also ask that this matter be resolved promptly and that BYD provide a definitive resolution without any further delays.
