I want to report a very serious scam I experienced through an Instagram ad under the name of Bwin. After clicking the ad, I was contacted on WhatsApp where they claimed to sell “live betting coupons.” They sent me a price list and I first paid ₺1,000 via bank transfer. Shortly after, I was told that I had “won” and could collect my payout—but only if I deposited an additional ₺6,000.
Believing this was part of the process, I made the payment. However, instead of receiving my winnings, I was told I now needed to pay ₺14,950 more. When I refused, they sent me a threatening document, claiming I would be taken to court by a lawyer if I didn’t comply.
All payments were sent by bank transfer to the following account:
M***** F***** Ö***** – İş Bankası – TR84**************************40
This entire scheme began just yesterday, and it is the first time I have ever faced something like this. There was no contract, no written agreement, and no official documentation. I also never contacted Bwin’s official customer service—this scam clearly operates through fraudulent channels using their brand name.
I am extremely frustrated and feel completely deceived. I demand that this fraudulent account be immediately investigated and shut down and that steps be taken to prevent these fake Bwin scams on Instagram and WhatsApp from continuing. I also request that my ₺7,000 loss be refunded and that legal action be taken against those responsible.
