Busuu Started a Paid Subscription Without My Permission
While using the Busuu app on my Android device, I discovered that a paid subscription had been activated on July 4, 2026, even though I never requested or authorized it. I do not recall seeing any clear subscription disclosure or confirmation screen asking for my approval. Despite this, a $7 subscription charge was added to my Türk Telekom mobile phone bill.
I request that this Busuu subscription be canceled immediately and that the $7 charged to my Türk Telekom mobile account be refunded as soon as possible. I also ask that this matter be investigated to determine how a subscription was activated without my authorization and that I receive a written explanation of the findings.
