Bosch Serie 6 Steel Meat Grinder Damaged After One Wash

I recently purchased a Bosch Seria 6 kitchen machine directly from Bosch’s official website, along with the meat grinder attachment that was advertised as being entirely made of steel. To prepare it for use, I washed the attachment once in the dishwasher, but afterward, I noticed that it had darkened and the coating had started to peel off. I’ve had the product for only about 7–10 days, and encountering such an issue before even using it has been very disappointing. I contacted Bosch customer service, and they told me they would report the issue to the factory and respond based on their feedback. Later, I was informed that the factory considered this a user error and would take no further action. However, the product was marketed as fully stainless steel, and there was no warning against washing it in a dishwasher. It’s unacceptable for a long-lasting product to become damaged after a single wash. If exposure to hot or cold water and detergent causes discoloration and peeling, these parts will inevitably deteriorate further with use, potentially contaminating food. Customers might assume the product is simply wearing out over time, but an attachment claimed to be fully steel should never deform like this. I specifically chose Bosch to avoid such issues, but this experience has seriously damaged my trust in the brand. I also purchased a pasta attachment for ₺5,470, which I haven’t used yet, and I’m now worried the same issue may occur. Since such defects could pose a health risk, I’m considering reporting this matter to the Ministry of Health if necessary. I paid ₺3,279 for the meat grinder attachment, and given that it’s brand new and defective, I request a replacement under warranty and a resolution to my complaint. My order number is 1120219316.
