Bosch Dryer Leaves Clothes Smelly - They Refuse to Replace or Fix It
My Bosch dryer (still under warranty) leaves clothes with a foul smell, making them unbearable to wear. I contacted Bosch customer service, and they sent a technician. The technician first washed new clothes they brought in my washing machine—no smell was detected. Then they dried the same clothes in my dryer and confirmed the odor. They issued a report stating the smell was detected (which I will share with images) and took the machine, suggesting it might require a part replacement. Later, Bosch headquarters called and said they would only clean the machine, claiming it would solve the issue, and promised further help if it didn’t. After testing it for another month, the smell persisted, so I contacted them again. This time, they blamed the washing machine, even though I insisted the problem was with the dryer. They took the washing machine, cleaned it, and returned it. When I called Bosch again, I stated that no action had been taken for the dryer and that there was no issue with the washer. I requested a replacement for the dryer—they said they would get back to me but never did. After a week, I followed up and was told they wouldn’t take any further action or provide more information. Despite the technician detecting the smell and the ongoing issue, they are trying to close the case without resolving it. It’s frustrating that they refuse to stand behind their product and offer no proper support.
No one has contacted me, please make your decision knowing that the after-sales support and service are very poor and that you are not valued when choosing this brand.
