Bosch Dealer Took ₺90,000 But Didn’t Deliver Wedding Appliances

On 19.04.2025, we purchased a total of 7 products from the Bayram Çağlıyan Bosch dealer in Karaman, including a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, built-in set, oven, hob and a Philips television. We paid ₺4,000 in a single transaction by credit card and the remaining ₺86,000 in 5 instalments on the credit card. We clearly stated that we wanted the products to be delivered when we got married, and the dealer said they could keep the products and directed us to shop in this way. For about 2 months, although we have repeatedly requested that our products be delivered, we have been stalled with different excuses each time. Afterwards, we learned that on 29 December the Bosch dealer Bayram Çağlıyan closed the shop and disappeared. While there are thousands of victims in the same situation at the moment, Bosch’s failure to stand behind its customers and its attempt to evade responsibility by saying “it is no longer our dealer” has deeply disappointed us. We made this purchase entirely trusting the Bosch name and its corporate structure. We believe that Bosch should regularly audit the store to which it grants dealership, intervene in time if such a situation arises, and, if the dealership has been terminated, ensure that its signs and posters are removed. It is unacceptable for an authorised brand to completely deny responsibility despite its dealer disappearing in this way. When we contacted Bosch customer service, we saw that they did not accept any responsibility and shifted the entire issue onto the dealer. We request that our grievance be resolved by Bosch, that our products be delivered to us in full in return for the amount we paid, or that a refund or an equivalent solution be offered to us.
