About five years ago, I purchased a Bocchi Fenice wall-hung toilet seat lid from Ekol Yapı in Kartal, Istanbul and paid $9 for it after a 50% discount. After using it for a while, the seat portion of the lid cracked during completely normal use, similar to how it had originally broken before. Because of this, I purchased the same model again and replaced it.
However, after about two years, the seat portion cracked again in the exact same place and in the same way. Both breaks occurred during ordinary use such as simply sitting down. There was no issue with the stabilizing parts underneath the seat, and the lid was not subjected to any impact or excessive weight.
Despite the product being relatively expensive, experiencing the exact same problem twice within a short period with a brand like Bocchi has caused me significant frustration. I tried contacting the company by phone, but I could not reach anyone. When I spoke with regional representatives listed on their website, they told me they would contact headquarters and get back to me, but no one has responded. I still have the receipt and the order form, and the payment was made by credit card.
Even with basic and inexpensive brands, it is uncommon to experience such problems for many years. Therefore, it is difficult for me to understand why I have experienced the same defect twice in a short time with the Bocchi brand. I expect the company to explain the cause of this issue and clarify what solution they will provide to prevent it from happening again. In addition, I request that my loss be addressed appropriately considering that the product broke in such a short time.
