Unable to Use BMW Connected Drive on My 2022 3.20i Sport Line
I own a 2022 facelifted 3.20i Sport Line (with curved display) vehicle, but unfortunately, I cannot use the BMW Connected Drive app. When I contacted BMW Connected Drive customer service, I was informed that this feature only works on vehicles manufactured after March 2024. They mentioned that discussions between BMW and Borusan Otomotiv are ongoing for earlier models, but there is no definitive information yet.
This feels like discrimination. BMW makes this feature available for vehicles globally, and it can be used in every country except Turkey. Why can't we use it on vehicles sold in Turkey? Is Borusan Turkey deliberately not activating this feature? Are they planning to charge for a service that is supposed to be free? It's hard to understand.
