I purchased Bio-Oil Stretch Mark Oil while pregnant, hoping to prevent stretch marks on my stomach. I have been applying it regularly as recommended, but instead of comfort, it caused a strong skin reaction. Shortly after use, I developed severe itching, redness, and small bumps, which became very uncomfortable.
I even bought an extra bottle because I trusted the product’s reputation and wanted to continue using it throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I was wrong—this product is clearly not suitable for me, and I do not feel safe continuing its use.
It is extremely disappointing that a product marketed for pregnant women can cause such irritation. I expected gentle and nourishing care, but instead I ended up with skin discomfort.
I will no longer be able to use this product and request that Bio-Oil addresses this issue, providing an explanation or solution for pregnant consumers who experience such adverse reactions.
