On August 25, 2025, I purchased approximately ₺70,000 worth of Sumochain through my Binance Global Wallet. During the purchase, I received a warning that the token was risky, but I proceeded with the transaction. Afterward, when I attempted to sell the coin, I was met with a “blacklist” warning, making the sale impossible.
Further investigation revealed that this token is essentially a honeypot coin, which means it cannot be sold once purchased. I also tried to transfer the coin to another wallet, but the transfer failed as well. No matter what I do, the funds are locked, and I cannot perform any transactions with this asset.
This issue continues to persist on the Binance mobile app, and I am completely stuck. I attempted to contact Binance live support, but I was unable to connect and explain my situation. My account username is u*.
I find it unacceptable that a major platform like Binance would even allow such a suspicious, unsellable coin to be listed and available for purchase without better safeguards. Customers trust Binance to prevent exactly this kind of fraudulent token from being traded.
I demand a full refund of the ₺70,000 I spent and that my complaint be taken seriously. Binance must take responsibility, remove scam tokens like this from its platform, and ensure that users are not left with worthless, unsellable assets.
