Bepanthol Derma SPF 25 Caused Burning, Redness, and Itching on My Face

I would like to report a problem I experienced with Bepanthol Derma Moisturizing and Nourishing SPF 25. Years ago, I used an SPF 25 moisturizer that Bepanthol sold under a different product name without experiencing any issues. Because of that positive experience, I purchased this product with confidence. However, when I applied this newer Derma formula to my face for the first time ten days ago, I immediately experienced intense burning, redness, and itching.

At first, I did not think the product was causing the reaction, so I waited for a while. When I tried it again, the same symptoms continued. Even now, the burning, redness, and itching have not completely gone away, so I have stopped using the product entirely. I have not seen a doctor or received any treatment and am currently waiting for the symptoms to go away on their own.

I am requesting that Bepanthol investigate the product’s ingredients and manufacturing lot and provide me with a detailed response. I want to understand why this product caused such an uncomfortable skin reaction and expect the brand to offer an explanation and conduct a proper investigation to help prevent similar incidents in the future.
