Beko Denied Me the Freezer Gift I Deserved With My Fridge
I purchased a refrigerator from Sağdıç Ticaret, a Beko dealer located in Sivrihisar, Eskişehir. During the purchase process, neither the sales personnel nor any in-store signage, brochure, or verbal communication provided any information about Beko’s promotional campaign valid between 16–30 June 2025. However, after completing the purchase, I accidentally discovered through my own research that during this campaign period, customers purchasing the same refrigerator model were entitled to receive a free deep freezer worth ₺8,999.(It is highly likely that other consumers were also unaware of this promotion and were similarly denied their rightful benefit.) Furthermore, the refrigerator was sold to me at the full suggested retail price, with no discount applied whatsoever. (In other words, it cannot be argued that the value of the gift was offset by a price reduction—it was not.) This situation constitutes a clear violation of: Article 54 and 61 of the Law No. 6502. Despite my purchase falling within the campaign period, this right was withheld from me—no gift was delivered, and no alternative solution was proposed. Additionally, I was not provided with an invoice for the transaction. My attempts to contact the store via phone and messages received no constructive response. I was given contradictory and inconsistent explanations, such as the freezer being too small or out of stock. When I contacted the customer service center, I received generic and repetitive responses, offering no effective resolution. Some of the responses—such as “please contact the dealer”—were dismissive and disrespectful to the consumer. Under these circumstances, my right to be properly informed was obstructed, my entitlement to a promotional gift was deliberately withheld, and my consumer grievance was ignored. Therefore, I demand immediate delivery of the deep freezer owed to me under the campaign terms; alternatively, the return of the refrigerator and a full refund of the purchase amount. If my request is not fulfilled, I hereby state that I will pursue my rights through all relevant legal and regulatory avenues, including: The Consumer Arbitration Committee,The Advertising Board of the Ministry of Trade, The judicial authorities,if necessary. As a long-established brand,I expect Beko to act swiftly and responsibly in addressing this unfair situation and to take the necessary steps to resolve my grievance.
Progress
Beko is not fulfilling its responsibilities.
I can't find a proper contact person regarding the problem I experienced with the product campaign. The responses I receive do not support each other. The huge company headquarters cannot ensure the delivery of a product, and the shameful part is that they say they are waiting for a response from the company that tried to deceive me. It has been over 45 days. Do I really have to go to the Arbitration Committee? What kind of corporate behavior is this!
