I ordered the Bauhaus Folding Lounger in White and Blue on June 30 from the official website and received it on July 2. I used it only a few times—around 15–20 times total—exclusively at the beach and always handled it gently. I weigh 63 kg, and despite careful use, a critical internal part of the locking mechanism broke off. This wasn’t caused by misuse or mishandling—it's clearly a manufacturing or design defect. The product only stays upright at 90 degrees and doesn’t recline, and now it's completely unusable.

I reached out to customer service with my invoice in hand, expecting assistance under warranty. However, I was told that because I didn’t report the issue immediately upon delivery, they would not help. That response is unacceptable. The issue didn’t show on day one—it occurred naturally after light, short-term use, and there’s no way this is user error.

I’m extremely disappointed. I trusted Bauhaus and even recommended the same product to many friends—several of whom also bought it. Yet I’m the only one facing this defect. The fact that I’m still paying installments for an item that has already become trash adds to the frustration.

Bauhaus, I request that you either repair or replace the faulty lounger under warranty. This issue deserves attention, and your refusal to support your customer is damaging to your brand’s credibility. Please take immediate action to resolve this matter.
