On the night of December 23, around 1:30 a.m., I tried to send a message on the Badoo app to a user named “Lalih 48 İzmir.” Each time I wrote the message, I received an on-screen warning saying “An error occurred,” and my message was not sent. I assumed the system was malfunctioning and that no credits were being deducted, so I tried sending the same message several times. Later, I realized that 250 credits were deducted each time, even though the message never went through.
Then, on December 26, around 10:20 p.m., I experienced the same issue when I tried to message the same user through the mobile app. Again, I received the “An error occurred” warning, the message was not delivered, but another 250 credits were deducted. In total, my credits were consumed multiple times for this same user, even though every attempt resulted in an error and no message was delivered.
More than the loss of credits, this situation made me feel uncomfortable and misled. I have started to question whether this platform is reliable and trustworthy. I am especially concerned about whether the account named “Lalih 48 İzmir” might be a fake profile, and I would like clarification on this matter.
I request that Badoo provide a clear and satisfactory explanation as to why my credits were deducted during these error messages, why I was put in this disadvantageous situation, and whether this user account is genuine.
