On October 2, 2025, in Istanbul, I was involved in a traffic accident with my 2015 Fiat Ducato 16+1 school transport vehicle, in which the other party was found to be 100% at fault. Although the damages caused by the other vehicle were repaired under insurance coverage, I was left without my vehicle for 7 days, which seriously disrupted my work. In addition, due to the accident damage, my vehicle suffered an estimated loss in market value of approximately $3,100 compared to similar vehicles.
To claim this accident-related loss of value, I applied to Axa Insurance by fully preparing all requested documents and completing the Axa Insurance depreciation (loss of value) application form. I submitted my application by email on November 27, 2025. Despite having an official claim file numbered 254281, I have received no response at all—no information about the process and no loss-of-value compensation offer.
Before the accident, my vehicle was selling on the market for around $21,700. After the accident, current offers are now in the range of $17,700–$18,600. Despite this clear and documented loss in value, Axa Insurance has not made any payment to me, nor have they provided any explanation regarding the delay or the current status of my claim.
Even though I sent a follow-up email to ask about the reason for the delay and to remind them of my application, I did not receive any response to that email either. I formally request that Axa Insurance urgently review my loss-of-value claim under file number 254281, provide a clear, detailed, and written explanation of the current status of the process—whether positive or negative—and pay the full loss-of-value amount I believe I am entitled to into the IBAN account specified in my application form and petition. If the payment is incomplete or the process is delayed further, I reserve all my legal rights and will pursue all necessary legal actions.
