Astroline Charged $39.99 Without Consent After $1 Trial
I came across a palm reading and astrology website called Astroline through a sponsored ad on social media. On December 14, at approximately 11:40–11:56 p.m., I purchased only the $1 option, which was advertised as a 3-day trial package. However, after the transaction, a total of $40.99 was charged to my debit card—$1 plus an additional $39.99, which was taken without my permission or approval.
The last four digits of my card are 8663, and the transaction appears on my bank statement as an online transaction. While I only approved the $1 trial package, no notification or clear consent was requested or provided by Astroline for the additional $39.99 that was charged without my knowledge.
Even though I tried to contact Astroline through their support channels, I have not received any response. I request that the unauthorized $39.99 be refunded to my card immediately, and that I be provided with a written explanation regarding this unauthorized charge.
