Not Receiving Adequate Service From Arcelik, Immediate Solution Needed

The Arçelik refrigerator I purchased malfunctioned on [10.07.2024]. After the first malfunction, the service team replaced a spare part, but the product failed again. I would like to state that this malfunction, occurring just before the Feast of Sacrifice, resulted in the spoilage of approximately ₺30,000 worth of food inside. The Arçelik service team informed me that they had ordered spare parts to repair the defective product without my consent and that they would perform the repair once the parts arrived. However, due to the recurrence of this issue and the product malfunctioning multiple times in such a short period, I requested the replacement of the product instead of repair. Irresponsible Arçelik ignored my request and stated they would only perform a repair. According to the Turkish Commercial Code and Consumer Protection Law, consumers have the right to have defective products replaced instead of repaired. When a product malfunctions multiple times and causes significant damage to the user, according to the precedent decisions of the Consumer Arbitration Board, the product must be replaced with a new one. Precedent decisions emphasize that products with persistent malfunctions and resulting damages should be replaced. For these reasons, I demand the replacement of the product instead of repair. Given the recurring malfunctions and the significant financial loss I have experienced, I believe this solution to be more appropriate and fair. The repeated malfunction of the product has caused me considerable financial damage, and I do not want this situation to happen again. Therefore, I demand the replacement of the product with a new one. However, without my knowledge, the indifferent Arçelik has repaired the product and sent it back to my home. I absolutely do not want this product and demand its replacement.

The product exchange was not accepted, and the main board and motor were replaced without my permission and sent to my home. I will not accept this and will follow up on it. I never recommend anyone to buy Arçelik!

The refrigerator was sent home on 31/07/2024 despite the processes I explained. And the result is that the refrigerator is not working. Thank you, Arçelik, for making us go through these difficult and frustrating processes!
