Arçelik Refused to Exchange Defective 9 kg Dryer




Hello, nice day. I bought a 9 kg capacity drier from Arçelik. The machine is one year old, and it failed to dry on the first use, so I contacted customer care. When the service technician arrived, they explained that the resistor had burned out and that while this could happen in some devices, it was not a user-related issue. Despite the fact that the part had been changed, I wanted a new machine. They refused to replace it during the initial breakdown, saying they would only do so if it failed again. On the second occasion, it failed to dry, prompting another visit from the service. They inspected the computer but returned it, claiming there was no problem. Sometime later, the machine failed to dry once more. By March 7th, the service technician had located a faulty pump. However, rather than simply repairing the part, I insisted on a whole machine replacement. If a one-year-old machine fails three times, I believe it ought to be replaced. On March 8th, I phoned Arçelik to request a replacement, but they insisted on just replacing the part. When I refused, they replied, 'It's up to you; we're shutting your case.' Arçelik's treatment toward me feels unfair. Since buying the machine, I've only used it ten times, and the company refuses to replace it. In addition, the equipment returned from service had scrapes on one side. I'm making this complaint with Arçelik to seek compensation for my issues. I hope Arçelik makes the required efforts to remedy this issue. Best regards.
