My Apple AirTag Can't Find Location, Even Indoors

I am absolutely furious with Apple! My AirTag, located inside the same house, keeps reporting it's "too far away" and cannot find its location! I'm experiencing this exact problem when I try to locate my daughter, which is incredibly frustrating and defeats the entire purpose of the device.

I bought a 4-pack of these AirTags, and it feels like I've just thrown my money into the trash. This product is clearly defective if it can't even function within close proximity. I've included a visual as an attachment to show the issue.

Apple, you need to either provide me with a new, functional product or issue a full refund immediately! These AirTags are not working as advertised, and they're a complete waste of money. Rectify this location tracking problem now!
