Praktika AI Charged Me for a Renewal I Never Approved and Can't Find or Cancel
Last year, I downloaded the Praktika AI app through the App Store on my iPhone 13 and paid for a 1-year subscription. When the period ended, I wanted to cancel my subscription, but I wasn't able to do so because the subscription didn't appear under the "Subscriptions" section tied to my Apple ID.
Today, $99.99 was charged to my card without my knowledge or approval. My bank statement shows the details: "international webpos 3D sale, merchant: Praktika AI Palo Alto US, transaction number: 072062, authorization number: 151047." Even though this membership doesn't appear anywhere I'm able to manage my subscriptions, a renewal subscription fee was still charged to me.
I'm requesting that my subscription be canceled completely and immediately, and that the $99.99 charged without my approval be refunded. I don't want to use this app again, because this whole process hasn't inspired any confidence.
