App Store Free Trial Silently Converted Into a $49 VivaVideo Subscription

3

On 01/07/2026, I accepted VivaVideo's 3-day free trial offer through the App Store. After trying the app, I didn't like it, and I had no intention of starting any paid subscription. Despite this, I noticed that a subscription fee of $49 had been charged to my account without my knowledge or consent.

When I checked the subscriptions section tied to my Apple ID, I saw that the VivaVideo subscription had been automatically activated. I don't believe there was any clear or understandable notification given about the trial converting into a paid subscription, and because of this, I feel I've been hit with an unauthorized charge. I'm able to cancel the subscription myself, but the $49 charged to my card hasn't been refunded yet.

I'm requesting that this unauthorized transaction, made without my knowledge, be canceled, and that the $49 charged to my card be fully refunded to the account the payment was originally taken from.
