Unexpected High Mobile Data Usage by AnyDesk Devoured 4.22 GB

I’ve been using the AnyDesk program intermittently for the past 3–4 months, but today I noticed my internet was being used up very quickly. Normally this app uses 100–200 MB per day, even when it’s not running in the background, but today it was consuming 15–20 MB per minute, using 3.33 GB in one hour and 4.22 GB total today.

My Vodafone plan ran out, and I was charged about $6 on Vodafone add-on packages and fees. I’ve never experienced anything like this before — I’m surprised. I request that AnyDesk take the necessary care and address this issue.
