Allianz Denies Unemployment Insurance Claim Despite Active Policy

I am experiencing a serious hardship related to my Allianz-insured credit life insurance policy with unemployment coverage, which is tied to a loan I took out through ING Bank. My employment was terminated on December 18, 2025, and as a result, I submitted a compensation claim to Allianz on December 22 to benefit from the unemployment coverage included in my policy. However, I was informed that such a policy does not appear in their system and that it was supposedly terminated in November 2025. Despite this, when I check through the Allianz mobile app, the e-Government system, and Haymer, I can clearly see that my policy is still active.

After submitting my initial claim on December 22, I called again on December 26 and was told that the legally required five business days had not yet passed. When I called again on December 30, I was informed that the relevant department had not added any response to my claim. An additional note was added to the claim, and I was told to wait another five business days. When I called again on January 5, I was once more told that five business days had not yet passed, further prolonging the process. During my call on January 12, I was again informed that there was still no response to my claim and that I needed to wait an additional five business days.

As a result, even though a total of 17 business days have passed since December 22, my claim remains unresolved on the grounds that the policy allegedly does not exist in Allianz’s system. However, I can personally and clearly see my contract as active under policy number 977697257. In addition to all this, I also submitted a separate complaint through Allianz’s “Contact Us” section, but I have not received any response through that channel either.

I formally request that Allianz acknowledge my policy as officially active, given that it appears as active in both the Allianz app and the government systems, and that my unemployment compensation process be initiated immediately. I also request a written explanation and a formal apology due to the delays and the contradictory information I have been given. I expect the financial harm I have suffered during this process to be remedied and my compensation to be paid as soon as possible. Otherwise, I want to clearly state that I will exercise my legal rights.
