Alibaba Unauthorized $221 Credit Card Charges

On September 28, 2026, shortly after receiving an SMS verification code that appeared to have been sent by Alibaba.com, unauthorized transactions were made on my Ziraat Bank credit card without my knowledge or consent. I can see unauthorized charges through Alibaba.com for $44.95, $27.15, and $149.27, totaling approximately $221.

I did not authorize any of these transactions in any way, and I did not make any purchases through my Alibaba.com account. When I contacted Ziraat Bank customer service regarding the issue, I was told that I needed to contact the merchant, Alibaba.com, and resolve the matter with them.

I have been adversely affected both by the compromise of my card security and by these charges made without my knowledge. I request that the transactions appearing under Alibaba.com be investigated and canceled, that all amounts charged to my card be fully refunded, and that the necessary security checks be carried out to help prevent similar unauthorized transactions from occurring again.
