Faulty Villa Wiring Damaged My Phone During Airbnb Stay
We recently stayed as a family in a villa in Kalkan, Antalya, booked through Airbnb. On the first night, I plugged in my phone, valued at ₺80,000, to charge. Due to faulty wiring and lack of grounding, there was a noise from the outlet, and my phone and charger were damaged.
Because my phone was unusable, I couldn't respond to messages from the host or complete the check-out procedure. Replacing my phone took a long time, and during this period, the host made unfounded accusations about me.
Adding to my frustration, Airbnb representatives do not speak Turkish, making communication nearly impossible. Who will resolve this issue and compensate me for my significant loss? I need a prompt and fair resolution.
