I Faced Canceled Group Flight with Air Montenegro and Lost Wedding Plans and Payments

I joined a Budva tour between August 28 and September 1 through Malitur, and our return flight with Air Montenegro was suddenly canceled without valid explanation. This wasn’t a minor inconvenience—it impacted all 63 passengers in our group. Instead of flying back to Istanbul as scheduled, we were told we’d be rebooked on a flight more than 24 hours later.

This delay ruined meticulously planned events, including my wedding rehearsal, photo sessions, and civil ceremony bookings, all of which had been scheduled weeks in advance. Every hotel, vendor, and appointment was tied to our original return date. All of those arrangements had to be canceled, and the money we paid was wasted.

When we contacted Malitur, they simply blamed Air Montenegro and refused to take any responsibility or help us find an earlier flight. Despite our repeated requests, no effort was made to get us home on time. We were left feeling helpless, frustrated, and abandoned.

I demand full compensation for the financial losses and emotional distress this disruption caused. Both Air Montenegro and Malitur must take accountability for this massive failure in service. This experience caused immense stress, and I will never book with either company again unless this is resolved properly.
