Hotel Denied Agoda Booking — How to Claim a Refund for Invalid Reservations

On November 1, 2025, I made an online credit card payment of $33 through Agoda to book a standard room at Quars Palmiye Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey (Reservation ID: 5945*83). However, my reservation was never confirmed, and when I arrived at the hotel, I was denied a room. The hotel staff informed me that they no longer work with Agoda and therefore my booking was invalid. Despite the payment being processed online, no refund has been issued to me.

I have tried multiple times to contact both Agoda and the hotel, but I have not been able to reach anyone. This is the first time I have encountered such a problem, and I request that my issue be resolved immediately.

I ask that the $33 I paid be refunded to my account as soon as possible, and that Agoda take the necessary steps to prevent similar incidents from happening to other customers.
