Agoda Refused My Hotel Date Change Even After Hotel Approved It and Keeps Lying

I’m very disappointed with how Agoda is handling my reservation change request. I contacted the hotel directly to ask if I could change the dates of my stay, and they agreed without any issue. But every time I reach out to Agoda to process this change, they reply with the same false excuse: “The hotel did not approve the change.” That’s simply not true, and I have proof that the hotel accepted it.
At this point, it honestly feels like Agoda is just trying to hold onto my money by making things unnecessarily difficult. This isn’t a misunderstanding—it’s deliberate negligence. Why lie when I’ve already spoken to the hotel myself?
Agoda needs to stop hiding behind excuses and fix this immediately. I expect them to process my date change without any more lies or delays. Someone from Agoda should take responsibility and resolve this now before it escalates further.
