Agoda Hotel Denied My Reservation and Asked for a Bribe at the Reception Desk
I made a hotel reservation through Agoda and paid in full, but when I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that my reservation was not in their system. I dedicated almost an hour to sorting out this problem at the front desk, and it was incredibly draining and frustrating. When my reservation finally showed up, I was denied entry to the hotel just because I wasn't married. To add insult to injury, the receptionist hinted that if I offered him some cash, he could "arrange" for my stay. This experience was marked by a significant lack of professionalism and ethics. I anticipated Agoda would partner with trustworthy establishments, but this experience has eroded my confidence. I request a complete refund and a thorough investigation into this issue.
