Agoda Fails to Refund $116 Virtual Card Charge for Canceled Vietnam Hotel Booking
On August 05, 2026, I made reservation number 1758103635 through Agoda for Hotel La Major in Vietnam and paid $116 using my virtual card.
On August 06, 2026, I canceled my reservation, and as seen in the attached screenshot, the system clearly states that the booking was canceled. However, despite nearly 40 days having passed, no refund has been credited back to my card, and I have received no updates regarding this process from either Agoda or the hotel.
Although I have tried to reach customer representatives, I cannot find anyone to speak with and am unable to get clear information about the refund process. I demand that the $116 amount paid for this canceled booking be refunded to my virtual card as soon as possible, along with a written explanation of the process.
