Agoda Charged Me for Hotel That Didn’t Honor My Reservation

On February 6, 2026, I made a reservation through the Agoda.com website for Samsun Niva Atakum Hotel under the name Hakan Umut A* using the phone number 050 650 79 7**, and 2,528.07 ₺ was charged to my credit card . However, when we arrived at the hotel to check in, the staff told us that their partnership with Agoda had ended about four months ago and that they could not find any reservation under our name in their system. Although payment was collected through Agoda, our reservation did not appear at the hotel, so we were forced to pay an additional 2,500 ₺to stay at the hotel .

When we tried to contact Agoda through the website, we could not find any phone number or email address to use, so we could not reach the company directly. Our Agoda reservation number is 625529603. I request a refund of the 2,528.07 ₺ that was charged but for which we did not receive the service from Agoda. Since we could not contact the company directly, I respectfully ask that Agoda promptly handle the refund and contact me at 050 628 82 2** under the name Sibel A*.
