Agoda Charged Me Five Times for One Hotel Booking

I am writing to report an urgent issue involving multiple unauthorized charges for a hotel reservation in Cairo, Egypt, made through Agoda.com.

My reservation is for Egypt Pyramids Inn in Cairo, Egypt, under Booking ID 1785994407. The booking is for one room, with check-in on November 25, 2026, and check-out on November 26, 2026. The reservation is paid and confirmed, and the total amount due for this booking should be approximately $46.

However, despite making only one reservation and authorizing only one payment, my Fibabanka account was charged approximately $46 five times consecutively between 1:30 a.m. and 1:31 a.m. on October 15, 2026. As a result, a total of approximately $231 was deducted from my account instead of the correct amount of approximately $46. The remaining four transactions are duplicate charges that I did not authorize.

This situation has caused unnecessary financial inconvenience and tied up a significant amount of money in my account, even though I intended to pay only once for this reservation.

I respectfully request an immediate investigation into this payment processing error and a full refund of the four duplicate charges, totaling approximately $185. I also request written confirmation that my hotel reservation remains valid and fully confirmed and will not be canceled or modified because of this payment issue.

Additionally, please provide written confirmation of the refund process, including the exact date by which the refunded amount will be returned to my Fibabanka account.

I want to emphasize that my reservation is already confirmed and paid. I do not want to cancel or modify my booking. I simply want the four duplicate payments refunded while keeping my original reservation intact.

I kindly ask Agoda to treat this matter as urgent, take responsibility for the payment processing error, and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
