If you booked a specific car with AddCar but were given a worse one and you want a refund or upgrade;
Check your booking details first;
• Find your reservation confirmation
• Note the exact car model/category you booked
• Screenshot the promised vehicle details
• Save the pickup agreement showing the actual car given
Document the downgrade;
• Take photos of the car you were given
• Note:
– Model
– Features missing vs. booked
– License plate
• Screenshot both your booking and the actual vehicle
Raise it immediately at pickup;
• Speak to the agent on site
• Show:
– Your booking confirmation
– The car you were assigned
• Ask for:
– The vehicle you booked OR
– A free upgrade to equal-or-better model
• Get their response in writing (photo of agent reply)
Contact AddCar Support ASAP;
• State:
– You were provided a different/worse car than booked
• Provide:
– Booking ref
– Photos of confirmed vs. actual car
• Ask them to:
– Reassign the correct car OR
– Refund the price difference OR
– Upgrade at no extra cost
