Zoopla Undervalued My Property and Dropped the Estimate for No Reason
I now have total mistrust of Zoopla's property value system. Within a month, the projected value of my house plummeted dramatically even though there was no market movement that would explain this drop. The estimate was already less than two current sales on my neighborhood, both of which had almost comparable layouts even before this. Although I personally know the owners and the sums they sold for, Zoopla's estimates have always undervalued my house. Now, with this most recent decline, the difference has only grown, rendering their values utterly untrustworthy. Many buyers and sellers depend on these estimations, although they seem to be derived from an arbitrary, faulty algorithm instead than actual market movements, which irritates many. Given Zoopla's erratic pricing, how can anyone treat it seriously?
