Last month, I decided to check out Zips Car Wash, and, based on the attendant's suggestion, I decided to become a Zips Value Club member. At first, I had intended to shell out $10 for a single car wash. However, after considering the options, I realized that the $20 membership would be a more cost-effective choice. With this membership, I would have access to a set number of monthly washes. However, because of a job change that required me to relocate to another state, I had to cancel my subscription—or so I believed. Given the lack of Zips locations in my current state, I decided to reach out to customer service in order to address the issue. Even though I had to cancel, they still went ahead and charged my card $24.99 last month. The cancellation was acknowledged by customer service, however, they mentioned that they would not be able to refund the previous charge. I feel deceived.
